Threat Level: Near Threatened

Their threats are poorly understood, but include loss of habitat for farming, loss of prey species and an increase in diseases affecting canines.

Here at the Zoo

All 6 bush dogs love to go around in a pack. They are very confident and are often looking at the public as much as the public are looking at them! One of them is hopefully going to be starting a breeding programme in Japan very soon
